No one seems to have picked up on this from the Authorisation thread, but we now know the answer as to the 64/70 mystery!
paul64 = Paul Riddell, Head of Marketing & Communications
paul70 = Paul Coles, Head of Compliance

It is rumoured there are a number of other significant Pauls in the Lendy operation, including:
Paul42 - who actually DOES have all the answers
Paul66 - a temporary position linked to World Cup PR, now sadly redundant
Paul88 - currently being covered as a job-share by a pair of rather large women
Paul69 - don’t ask (some sort of under-cover position, ensuring borrowers and lenders are treated equally)
Anyone heard of others?

Maybe it's in the T&C of employment that all Lendy staff must be called Paul. If necessary they have to change their name by deed poll when accepting the offer of employment, even the female staff  |

enough of the praise for working so hard to get FCA approval. can all the pauls now concentrate on sorting out the apPAULing state of the big loan book.the default/non performing/sus/claims underway/loans are an absolute disgrace.what/where is all the security on these loans that are supposed to be secured loans of no more than 70% ltv that means so many are months /years overdue with the same old updates.aPAULing treatment and a kick in the teeth to the many lenders that they are leaving behind stuck in these defaults while they keep pushing for more and more new money.
