I was looking at investing a small amount in USA Technology and was wondering the best way to do this
I could invest in shares of the FAANGS, but also looked at ETFs. I am not sure of the best Indexes for US Tech, but have looked at these
Invesco EQQQ NASDAQ-100 UCITS ETF
iShares S&P 500 Information Technology Sector UCITS ETF USD (Acc)
I guess there will be a normal debates of why invest in US Tech, but if anyone else has done this, I would appreciate how they have done this
I realise that S&P 500 and World trackers have a % exposure to US Tech companies

....I guess there will be a normal debates of why invest in US Tech, but if anyone else has done this, I would appreciate how they have done this... I surfed seekingalpha.com for a while. Lots of ideas presented there, but you always have to consider what the intent of the author might be. After reading for a while I placed small wagers on Ideal Power Inc. (Nasdaq:IPWR) and Bee Vectoring Technologies (TSX.V: BEE). I plan to continue this to build a portfolio of investments in distinct stocks on my own, rather than an ETF that buys what everybody would buy. However, I consider this a high risk strategy, almost VC-like, so only for money one is prepared to loose (if such money exists at all ).

If I was going to I would buy Scottish mortgage investment trust. I think alot are overvalued particularly Amazon. Investment trusts can fall way below there net asset value. A decent fall in the world technology sector would probably see Scottish mortgage investment trust go to a decent discount. Until then I have no interest in tech shares.
