I have been banned 3 times by the mods. Thus I will choose my words carefully.
Does anyone remember the ZDPF scandal? Well in my opinion an analogous situation is happening with many Lundy loans, Some defaulting borrowers are now seeking to transfer the loans to other P to P lenders. Please do your own research on this to see what's happened during the ZDPF scandal.
I wonder if the mods will cull this thread. If they do I am wondering whether the mods have vested interests

This is probably a silly question but what is the ZDPF scandal?

Zero Dividend Preference Shares issued by investment trusts. This scandal happened in the late nineties/early noughties.

Demanding 100% accuracy in spelling would be a cunning Lendy ploy to cut down criticism on this forum and add a second front to the war on objective Trustpilot reviews.

Does anyone remember the ZDPF scandal? Well in my opinion an analogous situation is happening with many Lundy loans, Some defaulting borrowers are now seeking to transfer the loans to other P to P lenders. Please do your own research on this to see what's happened during the ZDPF scandal. From what I understand this scandal was a mis-selling of geared investments which, as expected, produced large losses when the market turned. How exactly you think this relates to simple loan refinancing is beyond me. Certainly when a borrower tries to refinance a loan where the asset is worth less than the loan it's a game of pass the ticking parcel but if it's secured with a first charge on a property, even a heavy market downturn is unlikely to completely wipe out your capital. I wonder if the mods will cull this thread. If they do I am wondering whether the mods have vested interests Accusing the mods of being in cahoots with the platform to try to protect your post, which to me looks like potentially libellous s*** stirring, is ridiculous. I agree that Lendy are far from perfect but I'd rather see them called on their actual mistakes so they can change their ways rather than see them drown in a sea of meaningless accusations leaving investors in a collateral like situation.

Doesn't read as libellous to me.
From previous behaviour, if one started a thread questioning whether Lendy's business model might end up failing, it would be a reasonable expectation to see that artificially pushed down the page.

Number of Lendy threads "anchored" so as to go south? One, maybe two, I think? Number of Lendy threads with posts critical of Lendy? Pretty much all of them. Yep, must be a conspiracy on the part of the mods to limit criticism of Lendy . EDIT: Compare and contrast with Trustpilot......

Zdpf is zero dividend preference shares, and the issue there was more over-leveraging than buck passing. I see no parallel with LY etc kicking cans down the road, or at best only minor ones.
As for vested interests, I think you'll find I, and other mods, are more critical of Ly than many (go read MY trustpilot review .. which being factual, and me telling Ly who i actually am, is still out there). However wild unsupported accusations will get the treatment they deserve, whoever they are pointed at.
