Interesting that Lendy appear to be hiring for some form of "Account Manager" role - although it surprisingly doesn't seem to be very customer service focused... more of a sales role. www.indeed.co.uk/jobs?q=lendy&vjk=33081c25f3cf0a8eInvestment Relationship Manager
Lendy Ltd - Portsmouth £45,000 - £100,000 a year As an Investment Relationship Manager, you will be working with existing and new investors to maximise their opportunity with the company.
The primary objective is to generate new investment from the company’s new and existing clients.

Interesting salary range, obviously commission based - wonder what sort of behaviors that will encourage!

Maybe they are bringing in a bunch of fall guys so that the old guard can slip out of the country under the cover of darkness and leave this new bunch to carry the can.

Probably the dedicated portfolio manager for the new lendy wealth products. I would not fancy the job the way the big loan book is at the moment.

The primary objective is to generate new investment from the company’s new and existing clients. All without giving any investment advice _ because that would be illegal.
I do hope they record their calls and retain them indefinitely ...

Salary seems way out of whack considering it ain't in London. £45k basic, and 'some kind of finance qualification' - yeah right.
There are people working real jobs in the finance sector for a lot less, but of course, that comes with a modicum of career progression. You'd have to be very optimistic that Lendy is suddenly going to become an industry superpower.
Basically I see this as a bit of a high pressured hustling role. The word 'relationship' is a bit misleading.

Yeah, but knowing the way Lendy work you'll probably receive 30% of the 45k salary, with ongoing promises that the outstanding amount will be "due imminently" and they "have received sight of the paperwork for the full outstanding amount". And then your salary will be suspended 4 months in and you'll be forced to work there and get nothing in return.

I thought a relationship implied a two way thing, certainly there has been none of this unless you count the hilarious 'voting' mechanism.
This seems to be me in the scheme of things to be a rather junior role with no real strategic input, so I shudder to think what some of the others are on....
Combined with the Trustpilot thing Lendy seems to be going for the boiler room model these days, with a crew of slick wideboys desperately targeting the rich and gullible with the promise of high returns, but in reality backed by very dubious investments.
Clear that a major part of the package is conscience money, I'd feel absolutely terrible if my job was to convince people to put their money in when I knew deep down it would be unlikely to live up to the billing....

Looking at the Cows pics that would be the international marketing manager.

With the size of the LY team growing, I do wonder what these people do all day. No new loans are being issued, no defaulted loans are being recovered and the management of the loans that are in-flight appears to be nothing more than a phone call to the borrower and blind acceptance when he/she says everything’s going to plan.
