Hello. I was trying to withdraw some idle funds from Lendy. Going to UK Withdrawal, I was surprised to see I am being asked to deposit funds in order to withdraw ? Haven't done that in the past when I funded my account ? Seems strange to have to deposit more when you want to do the contrary which is withdraw. Did I miss something ? The message seems clear "Please complete a deposit from a UK bank in order to withdraw".

Have you previously deposited from a UK bank? Seems unlikely that you haven't.
I believe they add banks that you deposit from to the list available for withdrawal.

I checked I still had Lendy as one of my payees, so I did a 5 GBP deposit, but that is the first time I am asked to deposit before I withdraw !

Well yes, but you would expect that when I first transferred the money from that account, that would be enough !

Sounds like one of those "You've won £10,000! All you need to do is send us £1000 to cover taxes and duties and we'll send you your winnings!" scams.
Maybe they'll fund one of the unfilled tranches this way?
