Funding Circle agreed to cover default losses for institutional investors in Feb 2017 to get them to invest in German and NL loans

In return it would receive any excess returns on that investor’s portfolio above a 3.8 per cent threshold . (The document says the excess returns have so far exceeded the cost of the credit guarantee). " It would be interesting to know if this sweetener offer is permanent. They should pay up on the London Loans before paying out gratuities. That's equivalent paying out 16000 new referrals in Amazon voucher. Also a tiny proportion of their IPO valuation. They should own up and payout before any shareholder bonuses in the future.
