Good afternoon all. I know that a lot of our investors have been waiting for our much talked about refer-a-friend scheme to launch and I'm pleased to announce it’s finally here and launches on Friday. It will reward both referrers and new investors.

It will reward both referrers and new investors. Perhaps you should include my idea of a straight sign up bonus of the same total value, and see which works better (and yields better investors).

Lets assume your plan is £50 each for the referrer and the 'friend', Most 'friends' will be contrived to game the system, others will be unwittingly sent by links on blogs and similar, producing investors who are 'poor quality' Simply offer a £100 sign up bonus, both you and the potential investor get a better deal. I will waive my usual 'human behavior' consultation fee, if you want more the meter starts running.

Better not tell her about the £100 we've missed out on as she's got a vicious right hook.
