Fairly sharp reduction in availability overnight. Lowest amount available now since 7 Feb. Not many discounted 8% loans at all now.

Plenty discounted at 5% and 5.5% though On AC??! Which loans? I think the comment might mean there are a number of loans with stated rate of 5% or 5.5% that are discounted, rather than there are loans with a 5% or 5.5% discount. Care to clarify danielbird193 ?

Take a look at #544 now!!! Massive £0.16 at 20% discount (clearly, may have been substantially more when you saw it)
rscal how did you find that specific discount?

rscal how did you find that specific discount? Main trade for that one occurred 2nd May 2019 at 02:03 (edit: so the £0.16 or so left over would just be due to the bugs in AC's matching algorithms, and will probably be reduced to <£0.01 next time the loan is processed)
My allocation was 9.7263639448231341823299999999999998660000 GBP with a 20% Discount (7.7810911558585073458639999999999998928000 GBP paid) - I'd imagine The Algorithm arranged for most potential buyers to get a similar amount, but unclear how many buyers it was divided between.
Anyone else want to give me nearly £2 for no reason whatsoever? It's unclear why AC's systems even let people enter selling orders with such large discounts... it would have undoubtedly disappeared just as fast with a 1% discount.

It does seem notable however, that none of the most recently drawn loans have any availability at a discount at all, suggesting that underwriters are no longer needing to recycle cash as quickly (perhaps due to the recent change in underwriting conditions that tonyr alluded to but did not spell out in detail). I think its unlikely you see discounted parts on any new loans in the near future. Indeed. With spare money in my account, I've started asking for bigger chunks of some of the remaining discounts in order to keep the money busy, but I'm reaching my hard limits of maximum I'd conceivably consider holding in a single loan, rather than the softer limit of maximum I'll take per loan when there's plenty of other similar ones around.
FWIW, another ad-hoc analysis on recently drawn loans suggests that over 95% of the loan units in issue of several recent loans (#1007,#1009,#1011,#1012) are held in the access accounts. It seems clear to me that underwriters either were not offered these at all (in their capacity as underwriters - they can of course fill their boots at par even now if they're so inclined), or chose not to invest any money in them. My bet's on the former...
Conversely, #1006 and #1010 have only about 6% held in the access accounts and nothing at all for sale suggesting that either the PSA/GBBA swiped the lot, or manual investors (possibly including underwriters) grabbed them in order to hold medium to long-term.

I think this is just a case of the access accounts funding the loans and manual investors snapping all the units up. Small loans, low LTV's.
