Further to what I said previously about using the IFISA alongside the standard MLIA, it does appear from early experience that equal amounts of the same loan held in each account will trade simultaneously. And thus, for more rapid disposal/return of funds, it helps to buy a discounted loan part both inside and outside the IFISA and sell from both at once.

Many lenders, myself included, will manage their own account and also that of their partner. Is there any sort of mechanism by which a holding can easily be transferred from your own account to that of your partner ? Could obviously be useful either for the reason given by rscal above, or for tax purposes.

No. Whenever you sell a loan it will be picked up by all who have buy orders on that loan at that discount level in equal shares.

Save AC's account details in your online banking and create a javascript snippet to insert your bank details in AC's form, and it becomes even easier! [Alternative to creating a javascript snippet is of course to keep bugging AC to allow you to save bank account details on the website!]
I expect AC wouldn't allow it, but I wonder what would happen if you put AC's account details with partner's reference code into the withdrawal form on your account or vice-versa? I recall there was once a case (probably back on the old Zopa forums) where it was reported that one P2P platform got a rather confused call from another P2P platform asking why they'd just deposited money with them when a lender had attempted similar to this to transfer money from one P2P platform to another (presumably with a withdrawal form that didn't allow the reference to be specified). I forget whether the platform returned the money, or located the correct customer account and credited it to them "as intended" (whilst telling them not to try that trick again!).

Sorry a bit of confusion here , I think. When I used the word "holding" above, I was referring to a holding of loan parts , rather than a holding of cash. So if I have a holding of £100 in loan #985 for example, would it be possible to transfer this into my wife's account ? Might it be possible for example, to do the transaction by way of an emailed request to AC, who could then perhaps transfer ownership as a one-off back office manual transaction. Probably too fiddly anyway - I'm sure they have better things to do !

#464 had a chunk available at a 1.5% discount overnight. Mostly processed 7th May 2019 at 04:40, but the bugs in AC's allocation algorithms seem to have left £0.044463593193670780342900725842 over for the next round.

Despite the previously-mentioned "change in underwriting conditions", new loans 1019 and 1020 have non-negligible amounts available at a discount (base interest rates 5% and 6%, discounts 2% and 1% at time of writing)
Not enough of a discount to tempt me, but maybe sales will be slow enough at those interest rates that additional discounts will be offered?

Something a bit strange happened with #753 yesterday. There was "<£0.01" @ 2% showing and my order was for the 1.5% but on two successive cycles I received small allocations @ 2% ( 8p and £24.05 ) all the while there was no visible amount of 2% discounted showing. (It's now gone back to normal again.)

It only updates new sell orders at the next match cycle so you could be hours out of date (I have tested this by putting things up for sale with one account and checking the loan with another - and I couldn't see the new sale items).

(It's now gone back to normal again.) Nice surprise - checked my statement and see I also got a pair of 2% discounted allocations (for a larger amount than yours in total between the two allocations - I think a quite substantial amount was made available for sale and/or divided between not very many active buyers).
Question is whether the 2% seller knows something we don't (e.g. that the refinance is about to fall through), or simply doesn't want to take the risk of potentially being stuck in a protracted recovery process...
... and also whether they'll be kicking themselves if the refinance does proceed as planned soon, or whether that's merely a calculated risk they took when choosing to sell now to ensure liquidity.
