The same. Logged in just as normal. Not an every time event, but has happened a couple of times to me. The eternally helpful chat function confirmed it was a new feature but should only kick in if the incorrect answer is given on the security question. It has been raised with the technical section to see why it is occurring at initial log in occasionally. So basically learn to love it, its here to stay and will probably never work as designed, or maybe I have just become cynical. Oh well, logging in has become a rather disappointing experience, so I do it less and less often. Don't even read updates anymore, no point, just check return figure (which is getting lower and lower) and sign out. Nothing I can do about it, thinking of withdrawing everything that is withdrawable and putting it in a better place

Seems to be browser sensitive.
I habitually use Firefox & have never had it there. As an experiment, I tried logging in with Internet Explorer, and got the captcha every time. Same with Opera. Then back to Firefox, and I don't get captcha.
Somebody at FC Towers cocked up.

Opposite here!
I am on a PC with Windows 10 using the latest Firefox. I get the Captcha test every single time.

Oh god. In their infinitessimal wisdom, Funding Circle have noticed that some other websites use Captcha tests during login, and guess what? "Hey guys, our users would love that, let's do that too!"
Now we have to fight against those infernal tests every time the system logs us out after a short period of inactivity.
When it wants me to click a square with a "street sign", does that include the pole or not? If a "car" encroaches into a neighbouring square by a few pixels, does that count? And what the hell is a "crosswalk" anyway?
Saw this for the first time yesterday morning. Bit of a pain, seeing as it doesn't just ask you a few, but a great long string of them. "Does that include the pole?" -- My answer is no, it doesn't. If it's a few pixels of car, no it doesn't. There is some "fuzz" in the answer you give, a robot wouldn't have a clue, so a little human error is allowed.
