I noticed this post on the Abundance Board And coincidentally TC have today launched the long awaited son of TLC, 'Diversified Loan Portfolio' spread over 25 loans for two years. I got an email from TC late this afternoon about the DLP which piqued my interest, so I went and had a look for more information. I registered with TC a while back, but have not actually invested in anything yet. I admit I am thus a total TC newbie, but the dashboard is not showing me any loans whatsoever in either PM or SM, the forum menu button from the dashboard doesn't show anything either - the only forum that had any information was the VIP one which does have a thread for this portfolio from early morning. As there appears to be no information on my dashboard does this mean the loan has filled, or is this because I have not deposited the full £1000 needed for the loan purchase so it won't show me any information? Lost in TC.

so it will be spread across 25 loans which are already completed, and which have an "A" status. And this is the first of a sequence of DLPs. I'm not sure how many multiples of 25 A loans they are going to find, so good luck with that then TC :-)

Lost in TC. It should be listed under the 'Invest' option on the front page, I can also see plenty of loans on the SM. Auction starts 9th October for 6 days. Looking for £1M, so probably plenty of time to invest. You don't need to have funds to see any of this. There have been some problems with the site since the last 'upgrade', OK for me using Chrome on a pc (although TC seem to think it's fixed now anyway). Or contact TC if you still have a problem.

Cheers, hadn't seen your reply, definitely looks like a problem with browsers. Despite the warning about a lack of functionality with it on their website, I tried logging on with Edge ( ) but at least I could then view the DLP and downloaded the "Information Pack", but although I could also see the forum threads when I clicked view I got a blank page. So I went back to Firefox and turned off all anti-trackers ad blockers etc, and finally managed to get in (have to log in twice?) and saw the DFL, the forum and its posts whoopie..... I looked around when I first signed up and don't recollect any issues then, I refuse to use chrome. I'll have a look at the brochure, but I'm beginning to think I'll find it as underwhelming as their software. You were right about the fill, only ~7% gone when I was there.

I wouldn't touch a Thincats DLP. In my experience their track record is very poor. I invested in TC over 4 years ago, £1,000 in 6 different TLC's targeting 7% interest. All 6 TLC's have matured. The interest turns out to be ~5%(presumably some borrowers defaulted early). Some of the principal appears to have already been written off, and if Thincats manage to recover all the outstanding principal I will just about break even. This is unlikely, so I think it's fair to assume Thincats have taken a 0.25% admin fee for losing my money.

ThinCats are a total bargepole job, and have been for years. The Platforms to completely avoid are common knowledge on here and it's only a matter of (very short) time before the mainstream also becomes aware and said Platforms suffer a slow death. Alas, along with their long suffering Lenders.
There are one/two/three (possibly more?!) Platforms who, so far, seem to be honest and have a shred of integrity and I wish them well for they deserve to be successful in this sea of P2P merde.

I didn't like or use the TLCs, and I'm not sure I'll use the DLPs although they seem a much better product, more diversified, shorter duration, no cash drag and an easy way to spread risk (£1000 minimum makes diversification using individual TC loans difficult) but the projected return of 6.38% after fees and losses isn't that great. I think the DLPs are partly aimed at the new TC IFISA product market.

Thin cats reputation is sinking fast, the way that lenders have been treated is scandalous, I have been with them since 2013 and still trying to remove funds, looking at a substantial loss, they are experts at kicking the can down the road, the mantra on the site is "buyer beware", this seems to remove any sense of responsibility from everyone involved including the borrower.

I invested in TC over 4 years ago, £1,000 in 6 different TLC's targeting 7% interest. I started with the TLC's at a similar time, as it looked a good way to diversify bypassing the £1000 minimum. I only ever got into 1 (TLC 15) before the shortcomings became apparent (no control over what you are investing in, and questionable exit strategy). At my peak I had about £12k invested with TC, with one 50% capital loss and one going nowhere fast (where the can is constantly kicked down the runway at London City Airport, but stubbornly refuses to get airborne).
Whatever happens I'll end up with a modest profit at TC, but more by luck than judgement. Wouldn't go back.
