I have decided to go into the Valuations Business at a Flat Rate of £500 + VAT. My Valuations will be Professional, Honest & Reasonably Accurate. Unless you're a Borrower or a Platform, in which case they can be any figure you want.  Cheep! |

For the avoidance of doubt, are you valuing all assets at £500 (which may be a lot more accurate than some of the other valuations that we see), or just proposing to charge £500 for your services.
If it's the former I can see a fatal flaw in the plan.

Market it as a base rate for 70% LTV and charge at least a tenner for each extra -1% LTV (and a tenner off for 71% LTV). You could also set higher fees for GDV's, they tend to "perform" better than LTV's so should be charged accordingly.
