My Assetz Capital account is currently displaying an Un-used IFISA Allowance higher than £20,000.
Any ideas why this might be? I can't think of any legitimate reason.
Edit: another Assetz Capital account that I manage for a relative also has this same issue.

That section of the display page is the 'Gateway' to/from your IFISA account - I believe the gateway is monitored and controlled by dark forces working for the government making sure no-one is breaking any rules.
I think its outside of AC direct control.

If you have ISAs from previous years and have taken money out, your allowance goes up to account for this as a flexibile withdrawal, and so that if you repay then you re-use the previous year's allowance before using current year.

Thanks for replying, I can see how that would be possible now, but doesn't apply to my accounts. No withdrawals have ever been made from either of these IFISA accounts.

Same issue here -- though not to the same extent yet. My "unused allowance" has been climbing by about £200 a day since last Thursday. Clearly a bug, chris. I've sent an email; no doubt it'll all get sorted.

Just a quick update on this -- I'm now showing, two days later, an additional £400 allowance, but I've been assured that there are "a few customers affected so [the IT team is] looking into this as a matter of urgency". A moth in the valves, I imagine.

I'd already invested the full ISA allowance for this year (and not withdrawn any from this or previous year) and mine has been showing a small un-used amount for over a week now.
I thought it was strange so glad it's not just me.

Mine still shows 14p unused. Not a lot but still wrong.

Any ideas why this might be? I can't think of any legitimate reason. This is slightly tangential, but what happens with a flexible ISA if I put in £20,000 and within the same year earn a total of 2% interest and then withdraw all £20,400; how much am I allowed to put back in that year? Not applicable to me, just curious.

A moth in the valves, I imagine. My ISA account started showing £13.31 unused allowance early last week. I had invested the full allowance some months ago and have made no withdrawals. When it didn't disappear after a day or two I took this up on 'chat'. I was assured there were no bugs and nobody else had reported an issue. I was asked to do a line by line check of transactions in the cash account. This check showed the full allowance had been used and no withdrawals (so as expected). Confirmed the position in a second 'chat' with the same person. Issue 'taken away' for further investigation, the £13.31 remains on my dashboard.

I reported to livechat on the 20th that my unused Ifisa amount was wrong as it was stated that I had used aprox £400 in 18-19 in Assetz. This was completely incorrect as my 18-19 allowance is being used by another company.
"Further to our Live Chat yesterday, I can confirm that our Website Developers are today working on a fix for the IFISA Unused Allowance display error on your account.
They are hoping to complete the fix by close of play today and I will be updating your accordingly as soon as I have a further update for you."
My problem is now fixed

It's not even worth mentioning that the 1p which appeared in mine is still there now.
