Received this message several times when I tried to log in yesterday. It would be good to know why.
It would be helpful to know why I was banned. Perhaps it's because I said my profit was >1% over the past 3 years and I said I was prepared to provide the evidence of this.

You have not been banned, not now, and not in the past.
However, if you attempt to access the forum via VPN or Proxy servers or some mobile browsers (e.g. Opera Mini) you may get the generic 'You have been banned message' as we have banned blocks of IP addresses used by such services and the first choice of spammers, trolls, shills etc.
Occaisonally we accidentally ban IP address space of EU ISPs where they are embedded in a larger block of VPN type services. If you are unable to connect to the forurm when you believe you are connected to the internet directly via a UK / EU ISP please make a note of the IP address you are using (e.g. with www.whatismyip.com/ ), and PM admin with this address next time you are online so we can investigate further.
There may be some blocks of the 3 Mobile service that are still banned - we had to ban all of 3's address space at one point when we were getting dozens of spam posts a day from their network (which obviously had a major security hole in it)

I don't know how I can still post today. What I do know is I was told I was banned from this forum yesterday and I really don't know why. Are you sure you’re not banned from making loads of squeaky noises and stealing all the fish before you leave the planet?

as you not banned, will you provide evidence that your profit is less than 1% It's actually pretty tough for most people to give a true figure on their returns. Even someone who has stopped investing a year ago still likely has so many outstanding loans that it will still be a good length of time before the final return can be worked out. All I can say is that after nearly two years of investing, I haven't lost any capital or interest, but there are a few loans where I'm expecting that to happen once FS push through with their recovery plan. However, I am heavily exposed to just a small handful of loans (<20% LTV) where if something went wrong I'd be guaranteed to make a loss on the whole portfolio even if all other smaller/diversified loans were good.
