1pm ...hmm..hope I can access a recording, as I will be working! And I know I am old school but webinar is a new word on me that I shall now add to my vocabulary...or maybe not. New word for me too. Now I know what it means - audio version of what has been sent by e-mail yesterday. It's good to see Ly making another effort to address the issue, previous recovery efforts weren't very fruitful (iirc about a year ago we were told that 2018 will be focussed on recoveries). I hope this time round it will work better.

Whatever happened to the days when things sold in a fraction of a second on the SM. IMHO, the management got greedy. Closed a few loopholes like being able to invest and pay for it 24hours later. Oh and they started sponsoring some sailing weekend in IoW. #EyeRemovedFromBall. I will tell you exactly what happened. I and about 6 other entities used to be on Saving Stream buying all we could in the SM, until our accounts were frozen, followed by an email from Lendy (Liam or Tim, I can not recall now) asking us to explain ourselves. After that, accounts unfrozen, and then stupid captcha put in place. So I have now identified myself to Lendy!! Since the captcha, and having arthritis in my wrists, I no longer buy what I see. Maybe if Lendy wishes to get back to me on this topic and removes the stupid captcha, I would consider being pro-active again in the secondary market! But first, there would be a face to face conversation with Liam.

Just noticed that Lendy appear to have attempted to do a live stream 3 hours before the 'webinar' that we got ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=OF0_qYkBTR4) So maybe they were actually planning a proper interactive webinar, but either had technical difficulties or cold feet. |

Just noticed that Lendy appear to have attempted to do a live stream 3 hours before the 'webinar' that we got ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=OF0_qYkBTR4) So maybe they were actually planning a proper interactive webinar, but either had technical difficulties or cold feet. Well located.

Just noticed that Lendy appear to have attempted to do a live stream 3 hours before the 'webinar' that we got ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=OF0_qYkBTR4) So maybe they were actually planning a proper interactive webinar, but either had technical difficulties or cold feet. No, they have no idea how to use live streaming and clearly assumed they could launch the video there and have everyone watch it from the moment they hit the stream button. That's not how live streaming works, and obviously they lack the skill to even end the livestream they created. It will just sit there, dormant, until they figure out how to hire someone under the age of 40. They would have had better luck with the premier feature, but again that's not really the right delivery method as they aren't Marvel. They reverted to uploading a video and emailing the link instead.

Some might ask who was paid a fat fee to produce that erroneously labelled "Webinar" of patronising garbage? This pre recorded bit of hand wringing "don't blame us - please be nice to us" with no possible interaction just displays cowardice on the part of the entire management Board at Lendy. Applying the Lendy Bull**** translator to the Webinar:- " Hello morons. [long pause and adopt a forlorn look] Sorry we have not bothered to keep an eye on so many of our wonderfully over valued projects but we have been far to busy having a great time spending our up front fees and policing and adding to Trustpilot to do any real management. Don't you lot realise that organising and drinking at Cowes takes a lot of time to arrange and then to recover? We have no intention of telling you anything that you did not already know in this wonderful bit of self justifying PR. Please stop asking difficult question because it upsets us. We will produce more of this type of rubbish soon so we can pretend that everything is going smoothly. Please put all your remaining spare cash into the hat Lendy Wealth and then write a super 5 star review for us on Trustpilot. It will make you all feel better. Now get stuffed". Priceless and succinct! I need one of the BS translators in my office.

That's four minutes of my life I will never get back. The tone feels more like cbeebies bed time story than serious financial content, though I'd expect a cbeebies presenter to know the difference between specific and pacific....
