Fact or fiction.
Is there any hope we will see some or any of our money.
Will any interest be paid.
Will the London Loan Saga be resolved.
Will we ever find out why loans were mysteriously suspended.
Will a surveyor get sued for bad valuations.
If it wasn't people's lives and savings being played with it would make a great drama.

Just did a quick scan of all my Lendy loans.
There is only 1 loan now paying interest, amounting to 1.63% of my 5 figure portfolio.
I expect that I'm not alone

Yes same here nearly £50k earning sod all. Go back as far as R..or energy what a joke that one is.yes P2P is not really what it appears to be.hopefully LY FS MT and a few others can sort some of this mess quickly enough this year as I cannot see many new investors risking their money with these platforms so no new money to keep them going.does not look to good for 2019 I expect to lose many thousands of pounds this year.so life still goes on and will not lose sleep or worry to much as there is nothing I can do except wait.

I feel sorry for the folks with a lot of money earning no interest and likely at least partially lost. I left the platform a year ago (only a low 3 figure stuck in defaulted loans) and I had no idea it had gotten so bad in the meantime.

The situation is very bad for those heavily invested but could get much worse should Lendy shut up shop. i also have a relatively small sum invested so can be phlegmatic. If I had many thousands at risk I would be taking legal advice and perhaps joining with other larger investors to pressure Lendy to come forward with constructive plans for the loans in which involved. Sitting on the sidelines is not really an option.

My you are lucky rarely do Lendy actually formally default loans they just forget about them.. For those saying the loans not earning interest, they are just not paying interest into your account. I’ve had a good few pay +bonus . Currently updates show more proactive involvement which I hope results in resolution of loans >2 years late the others should follow in order until all either repayed or resolved to allow offset by April.

This needs a new blockbuster approach. Send in Liam (Neeson). We've all been well and truly taken! Or Denzel Washington. We need and Equalizer.....

Is there any hope we will see some or any of our money. My most recent repayment of capital was 21st Dec. Yes, today. Just over half of my loans are "good". Considering how few new loans there's been lately... Given the reduction in balance due to repayments over recent months, my "non-performing" loans are about a third of my peak investment. Most of the rest are nearing conclusion, going by the updates. Yes. But probably not soon. We did on the 21st. Several are being, and have been being for months.

My last 2 were suspended in December so no interest for me this month The suspended loans still get interest paid at the end of the month providing they are IOA don't they? Apart from the sheds I haven't heard anything different.

I pulled most of my money from P2P over a year ago. Not through astute financial thinking, but because I needed the cash for an unforeseen circumstance. Sadly though my one remaining few quid in P2P is in the infamous London loan. Oh well, time to hide the rest of my cash under the bed, just in case
