Believe the awards were quite recent. I was certainly pestered to vote by several P2P providers. So who won what and what was the pecking order?

FC got "Best Clarity of Data for Investors (UK & EU)" and QuidCycle got "Most Innovative New Entrant (UK & EU)" which makes one wonder if the judges just picked names out of a hat.

AltFi Platform of the year.........and the award goes to.............Ratesetter (The winner will be voted for by our independent panel of Alternative Finance experts) Consumer Platform of the year............and the award goes to...............Ratesetter People's Choice Platform of the year............and the award goes to...............Ratesetter Editor's Choice Platform of the year........and the award goes to.........Zopa (The Editors (sic) Choice is the only category in which the AltFi team has the deciding say) So simple really, would you have your preferred investment/borrowing strategy led by an independent panel of experts, or the AltFi team.

Thanks for the link. With results like those. Who the hell was voting? I think we should have our own of this forum. But perhaps include a few extra categories specific to here so we dont get in trouble for copying.

Congrats to the entire team for a well deserved award for past performance. Time to think about current woes - and remember - Tesco didn't get where it is today by listening to those annoying people warning the board that it was making mistakes.... Jack P

The problem with business awards like this and particulalry the peoples choice award is if the votes are un-weighted then they can be just a measure of the size of their customer base and their ability to mobilise them into voting rather than being a measure of any degree of preference/quality/popularity.

Yeah right .. Zopa definitely mobilised me into voting .. For RS. Mind you, next year, RS may have mobilised me right back unless they sort out their new websiteforsoreeyes.
