Today's FT article on Lendy indicates that the FCA has got a grip of their collar. Any concerns that I might have had about the situation were immediately dispelled when Lendy, asked for a comment, stated that they are not responding to a chatroom rumour no matter how ill-founded. Fortunately for lenders, management assured the FT that it is focused on a number of major recoveries from non-performing loans as well as making other business improvements and would prefer to devote their energies there. Bravo Lendy. Good to know you have our backs and don't waste time stooping to deal with scurrilous sniping.

No immediate additional payment for lenders (as it's interest that'll doubtless be credited at the start of next month), but today's update on PBL200 indicates that Lendy still appear to be successfully receiving payments from borrowers.

May's deal .. nearly out of the picture No deal ... nearly out of the picture This leaves a closer deal with EU or staying with EU. Surely this is a positive where valuations are concerned .. and probably the property market in general (?)

I appear to have had the interst credited today. The interest credited for PBL200 looked to have been just the "missing" portion from the previous monthly interest payment, so there'll presumably be more to follow.
In the meantime, I got another whole penny of bonus interest by re-investing that interest repayment into DFL026 which just repaid in full yesterday! Wasn't invested quite long enough to accrue a single penny of regular interest, but I figure any positive increment is good.
Also got a decent chunk of interest and bonus interest from what was left of my main holding in DFL026. Just a shame I'd not yet had an opportunity to top it back up properly following the previous repayment.

In line with the original topic: Lendy is not LCF.

The recent choppy waters have encouraged me to look for alternative investments shop.lego.com/en-GB/product/Steamboat-Willie-21317I think this will be worth a small fortune in 20 years time ( ), and in the meantime it'll look good on the coffee table.

I reckon you could pawn that over at FS for 100k. Say it’s a one of a kind made by Walt himself. Don’t worry they won’t check. They won’t even need you to deposit it as security, they’ll let you keep it as long as you promise you won’t sell it.

Ooops! No it won't. If you've opened the box it has been defiled and the value massively reduced.

Yup, partially true but you have to put the unopened box in a locked box to stop some idiot opening it while you are out of the room. Amusingly, or otherwise my youngest brother had left a collection of appreciating, boxed Dinky toys in his bedroom wardrobe when he left home almost 50 years ago. He returned to collect them some time later only to find that Dad had taken pity on some young guy with kids who worked for him and given him the lot.

Another benefit of my new acquisition - I shall be seeking sponsorship and entering Cowes Week 2019.
