Given that it's Barclays, I can well believe the official line.

The positivity is flowing from Lendy now! Updates dated 3rd May quoting action and outcomes within 14 days. Next Friday is going to be fantastic me thinks.

Interest paid before Friday. And with more money than expected. I've been doing the Michael McIntyre camp walking up and down the living room in celebration .. shame I don't have the flapping hair anymore .. (or hair at all to be slightly more accurate).

Oh, just also to note that Lendy's demise due to the following symptoms have proven false:
1. Banking issues 2. Delayed updates 3. Payment of Interest
I'm not being naive, with the FCA allegedly breathing down their necks, there is likely to be issues, however, I, for one, prays and support Lendy to keep the ship floating while it's steered to some tropical islands, or back to England if it must be.

To show good faith, I've thrown the monthly interest back into one of the new tranches of a DFL that seems to be progressing well, hopefully to compound at 12% for the second half of this month...
Just need to wait for "early May" now so I can decide what to do with the other payment(s) due to be credited.

I also reinvested in an ongoing tranche, got more interest paid than i expected so my confidence got a slight bump.

Positive news indeed that all withdrawal requests up to the 13th are now processed. That must be all those loans that repaid in early May then. Can someone remind me, was it five or ten loans that paid up?

I emailed Customer Service Support about the two-factor authentication, got a reply and it's fixed.

3 new updates received in one day. Ok they are basically all saying we are not going to get a full recovery. But small steps, at least its communication.

It's communication with investors, it's confirmation of signs of life at Lundy Towers, it's heralding the return of some of our hard-earned cash ... so why does all that positivity dissipate as soon as I see evidence in black and white of Lundy's tremendous cock-ups (eg the massive variance between initial property valuations and values realised at auction)?

Umm, Ly didn't produce those valuations - professional surveyors and valuers did. And you must have believed them when you bought your parts in the loans, right?

I guess we can now say goodbye to the positive thread.
