Updates on all the student accomodation loans now posted on platform - not sure what transferring debt to SPV means for our funds - anyone understand this? Cheers P Looks like they must have released the updates too early by mistake, although I'd rather read updates as they come in rather than wait and read them all at once at the end of the month. Anyway, I suppose that update sounds more promising compared to "There's no chance on this Earth you will receive any of your capital back". Let's hope for more positive updates from the other loans.

There is still movement on the secondary market, as I managed to sell 10 loans today.
Liam appeared in Court last week with his defence team, so he is still about.
Lendy is still solvent and able to pay is lawyers and QC.
Lendy have appointed a new Recoveries Team, and some cash was handed back to investors just before last (2018) Xmas.
No news [from Lendy] = Good news!

I received £58.12 interest on my £25k investment this morning, I'd call that positive

That's £58.12 more than many of us got, and the correlation of interest received vs investments held is now very weak indeed! However, so far, none of us got the 'detailed update on recovery progress' promised by 'the end of the month' (January, one assumed) (2019, that is ..)

Think of all the disappointment you have not had to suffer and all that lovely anticipation!

Great positivity guys! I had tears of pride in my eyes as you all pulled together to counter some latent negativity. Yes, @gsv3miac, I mean you. I also got £58.15 interest - chuffed!
Of course if you looked at my Lendy holding, you might say that I am in denial about something. I'm.....I'm.... aaaaahhh .... oooh for a moment I glimpsed the potential loss I'm facing..... Look away.... think positive.... little kittens in a basket.... little kittens in a basket....

Yeah, still positive here too. I got nothing from Lendy again this month which is miles better than having some rissole laying claim to my house! Got a bunch of capital repayments ahead of interest from THC too and a couple of their P2P defaults are looking like they're about come good, one especially so. Now if I could just get an initial few bob back from the £100K I lent my son. I think I've greater expectations looking to Lendy to be honest.

You are gifted, loftankerman.

" none of us got the 'detailed update on recovery progress' " <----- No news is good news (cough cough) The 'detailed update on recovery progress' is only 15.25 hours overdue as we stand which, if it arrives later today, is really not so bad at all. It could be worse.

I got positive interest payments today equivalent to about 1/3 of my exposure to the notorious "London Loan".
2 more months like that (especially when considering interest payments that occurred mid-month due to repayments), and even if that loan has to be written off as a total loss, I'll still be in positive territory for the year.

I have only scan read so far so my joy is somewhat muted just yet but I remain positive and optimistic. I can smell the money that is coming our way.
