looking at scaling up and the speed of this having been an issue with some other platforms, without there being transparency about where the money is going to be used,
Does any one know what the relationship is between the Growth Street companies on CH? Particularly with Arts Alliance Ltd? I'm new to this, sorry if this is a poorly framed question.

The mention of a company called Arts Alliance prompted me to do a quick bit of digging on companies house, and it turns out that companies with (or formerly with) the Growth Street name appear to be thoroughly mixed up in the UK cinema industry (other than the address, related party transactions in the accounts with Arts Alliance Media and Park Circus were the big clues there). As someone previously involved in that world, I'll be honest that this wasn't a reassuring discovery! I'd love it if someone with a bit more skills than me in probing and interpreting companies house documents would take a deeper look.

Arts alliance is a Venture Capital firm that effectively launched Growth Street with an initial £5m investment.

Growth Street Exchange is owned by Growth Street Holdings which is controlled by Guersey based BVI entity Cheetah International Investments. The beneficiary party is TH who owns AA plus a bucket load of other finance entities. All viewable on Panama papers. TH is the major shareholder in GSH but there are plenty of others incl AA.

All the name changes for Arts Alliance Ltd confused me, but if it's basically an investment/financial instrument, that makes much more sense.

Thanks... so, (with a different thought in mind) is this level of info used as platform DD by experienced investors? Could it be considered a necessary part of deciding whether to use a certain platform or another? Shouldn't the FCA and HMRC be looking at this kind of accounting risk? I thought the panama papers were a static capture at the time...
