Yeah, the investment queue starts growing, it's the end of month, demand for WLU loan is lower in this part of the cycle. I have 2% queuing at the moment. I tested ONE investment if rate change speed up my lending, and it has no effect at all. Ah that might explain why I've not lent anything since Monday's deposit but this time last week it was super quickly lent out
(BTW I had split my latest investment over all existing ones - 10 off - rather than create another one and my initial reaction to none of this being lent was that it had something to do with that but... if anyone here can verify... a small additional sum (per investment) should NOT make any difference to subsequent matching time should it?)
Splitting the investment has no detrimental effect in my experience, I think it just seems to be the pattern that mid-month is the busiest for lending. To be honest that really is not that big a surprise given the borrower profile. Most repayments would be month end period, so supply and demand rules.

I have 5.2% queuing this morning and it was somewhat similar since Tuesday. I lower the rates and it helps for most of them to get lent, but some investments were stuck regardless. Probably borrowing demand is low or supply of new funds is too high at the moment???

I am watching the XIRR closely, need to understand the effect of 35 days PF purchase delay and the idle fund queuing.

My queued funds are quickly piling up and now total 21% from 0% two weeks ago. Are others experiencing similar? Last month my queued funds reached 35%+ before quickly being following nsiam 's post about the tweak to the algorithm. I'm hoping that this is just the result of intra-month lending patterns, but the fluctuation does seem a bit extreme and the level of cash drag is of concern.

I currently have 11% queued, money have been matched in the past few days, but the demand is lower in this part of the cycle.

I have an average of 23% queued across 2 accounts, so you're not alone.

4.4% for me (across 26 investments). Not as bad as for majority here, but still much worse than it used to be. Could've been worse if I just left my rates as they were (12-15%). I've managed to push some through by reducing my bottom rates. On one occasion I had to go as low as 5.5%.
I hope demand/supply will normalise soon, but for now it's probably a good idea to halt investing new money.

Agreed, I will not be investing any more money on this platform for the time being. Cash drag is one reason, but very poor customer service (to date, my experience) and very poor transparency on the investment process/algorithm and PF calculation leave me a little nervous about the platform. Hopefully all will be well and I will assess returns achieved after 6 months before making any further moves one way or another.

Lower rates pushed some of them through. What I've noticed is - it's the bottom of the list (i.e. more recent investments) that gets more stuck. The oldest investments seem to get cleared as soon as I reduce the rate to 11% - one of more recents is set at 6.5% and still not invested since this morning.

My amount queued is at 15% of my total amount invested, so I have withdrawn some. nsiam, you've heard this before, but if you could tell us lenders a little bit about how the queuing system works so that we have some idea of what we can reasonably expect, people would get less excited when we see fluctuations. We don't want your trade secrets, but we would like to know in general what influences the queue system so we can understand what is happening. If you give us more confidence, we will give you more support!

i'm down to 2.3% queue now. I am surprised to see low level unallocated cash with 26 investments. My highest portion of unallocated cash in a investment is 33%, lowest is 4%. Overall is 11% for the entire WLU balance

Overall is 11% for the entire WLU balance Down to 1.9% now. Highest per investment is 10%. I've no idea why my cash drag is significantly lower than others, but I've noticed that overall old investments are performing much better. For example, this morning I pushed the rate for one of the old investments down to 11% and it was lent within an hour. Simultaneously I lowered one of newer investments to 6% and it is still there in the queue.

As a new investor I had cleared funds at the start of the week and 7 investments created. A single £10 loan is all I have been allocated so far. Any idea how long is it likely to take to get these funds invested? At the current rate it could take months, and if that is the case I will need to withdraw and find a new home for the money.
