I don't know if there is a representative of FS on here? But if there is then sort out your website. Its pretty easy to a solution that can expand your capacity as customer visits increase. The latest Loan for a rolex watch bugged out again. No idea if my bid was accepted. Also people were supposed to only bid £50.00 as there are so many investors and so few loans but many people were able to bid well over that ? Anyone else having probs or is it just me

Thank you!! When i tried to look it didn't show any at all and then the loan disappeared so i couldn't check. With luck the £50.00 loan will be kept. and all the loans over £50 will be cancelled. No idea why they didn't limit it like they said they would?
Thanks again /beastie

No idea why they didn't limit it like they said they would? Thanks again /beastie I never received the original mail which supposedly went out yesterday evening. Nope it's not in spam either so perhaps FS would like to look into that one for starters. The site is a mess and I placed 3 bids, one of which was over the £50 limit. Got the normal 'thanks for investing' mail but each time the site showed an error message. Now my 'live/fulfilled' section shows all 3 bids as having been accepted but they are missing on the auction site. Not bothered as it's only for pennies but it doesn't inspire confidence either. It's not as if FS have loan offers available all the time. They're more like a blue moon event ATM. Rant over.

Thank you for your comments on the performance of our website. We are acutely aware that we experienced a number of problems when we posted the loan referred to in this thread. It seems that the offerings are so popular that savers rush to get a chance to invest. Our wish is to see loans last longer on the system. We have therefore tried a number of tactics. One of these was to stop pre-announcing loans. However, we received very strong views from our savers that they did not like this. We then decided to implement a saver restriction program - in the hope that, by restricting the size of investment, loans would last longer. Unfortunately the first time we ran this there were some technical issues - which triggered the above comments.
We spent quite some time recently trying to address these issues. When we posted our last loans (on December 11), the results were very positive. Both loans were on our website for a few hours and we had no errors. We hope this trend will continue.
Our apologies for anyone who has been frustrated during the investment process. However, we think that we have resolved these issues for good. We continue to welcome your feedback - both good and bad.

We continue to welcome your feedback - both good and bad. I think the saver restriction program is a very good idea. The fact that loans still are being funded very quickly even with the restriction in place shows how broad FS support is. I'd be even happier if the restriction were a bit tighter, so that a loan would require 40 or 50 lenders to be completely funded by the initial surge, probably subject to a minimum restriction amount of £50 or £100. That way, a greater proportion of FS's registered lenders would be able to participate. If FS were to get to the point where loans were not being funded quickly enough, the restrictions could be eased. Until then, though, they should be kept pretty tight.

fundingsecure, thanks for posting. I guess the answer is more loans, which is something I'm sure you're working on already!

The lack of loan opportunities though does lessen the interest somewhat.
