Bad news hidden in an emailed newsletter. Do many people read those? I usually just delete them. And I imagine even fewer people actively monitor the FC blohg where the information is posted.
Never mind though -- you can get some free John Lewis vouchers ... if you want to risk at least £15K for 3 to 4 months. I wonder, if I put £15K in today, how much of it I would be able to withdraw in 4 months' time?

Yeah, I think you could be right. I'm not tempted this time around. But never mind, I think it's a wonderful idea, all these JL vouchers. The more handed out the better, then there's some chance we can get our money OUT. Isn't there a name for this sort of "scheme"? (5 characters and it sounds Italian).

Currently I have more in FC than RS and have been gob smacked to see the stats some of the FC borrowers I have been forced to give money to and then what a surprise, default. I shall be withdrawing from FC and depositing in RS. I'd give some to AC but I'm at my limit with them.

It would save a lot of messing about if they just had a way for borrowers to apply for CCJ loans, rather than having to pretend they are unexpected. Lenders can't choose to avoid them, so what's the problem? (We've just put our last account up for sale, to beat the rush).

I've not put any new money into FC for a couple of years so this latest rate revision may make me start removing it. And the greater the incentive the less attractive the underlying deal is so I'm not tempted by John lewis vouchers! The only question for me is where to reinvest this FC money!

According to the FCH Q4 update, lowered annualised returns for 2016/2017/2018 in the UK corporate.fundingcircle.com/download_file/force/191/354
| 2016 | 2017 | 2018 | UK | 5.2%-5.8% | 4.7%-5.4% | 5.1%-6.0%
| US | 4%-4.8% | 5.3%-6.9% | 5.8%-7.8% | DE | 4.4%-6.2% | 1.7%-3.6% | 1.7%-3.7% | NL | 2.8%-4% | 2.2%-4.2% | 2.2%-4.2% |
Compared to other European FC loans, UK does not seem too bad. Only recently, FC US loans have better returns in 2017/2-18.
