Has anybody on these boards actually invested in Lendy Wealth ? Or ever seen any confirmation from any source that anybody has actually put money into Wealth?
I'm starting to think it's just 'fake news' , a smoke n mirrors distraction, nothing in the black box , a dead parrot..
and Lendy only staggers on as management can see there are still £m's to be made in creaming off undisclosed fees from 'recoveries' in the massive defaulted loan book.
Sorry to be cynical on such a beautiful Sunday, but seriously , has anybody any knowledge of any invesment into Wealth ??

I don't know but occasionally you see a £100k+ sum single investment on DFL tranche loans so I'm assuming that's coming from the Lendy Wealth pot. But that is all it is, an assumption rather than actual evidence.

I asked the same a while back. Find it hard to believe the wealthy would rock up to Lendy wealth and dump at least 50 big ones without doing some research then run a mile in the opposite direction. Maybe the odd nice but dim Tim needing a home for Daddies dollars but other than that?

OK, so the ones who did the research didn't invest .. that still leaves the ones born every minute, who didn't, so did.

I used to dump big amounts in loans back in the SS days and that was terrifying even with a liquid market, dumping big amounts now, well those doing that must be very confident in the loans because there's very little chance of liquidating unless the merry go round is still going on but in the background. Who knows?

Who knows? Presumably any chance of liquidation only comes from new investors dumping money into, dare I say it, the pyramid.

Presumably any chance of liquidation only comes from new investors dumping money into, dare I say it, the pyramid. There've been several loans repaid in full already this year, and several others that have made partial repayments. That's a pretty good source of liquidity over a 60/365 day timescale too.
Whilst Lendy Wealth certainly isn't to my taste (I can get the same risk exposure but a higher maximum return by investing directly in the underlying loans), it would seem to me to have less liquidity risk than the similar accounts with shorter access times offered by at least one other P2P platform.

I heard I would have a better chance investing in a mysterious gold laden vortex hidden 40 miles underneath the Earths core...

There must still be people putting money into Wealth, £136k was used to fill the latest tranche on DFL029. It's turning out to actually be a very valuable fund because it's filling the tranches which won't normally be filled on the self-select part of the website.
