I have uncovered a bug in the IP platform which causes the minimum balance setting on profiles not to function correctly. I run multiple profiles and set them all to hold a minimum balance - I have just about reached the point where I don't intend investing any additional fund the in the platform so wanted switch to drawing down a monthly income from part of my interest repayments and thus wanted to retain a certain amount in my account - however the platform has continued to bid based on my profiles until I have a lesser amount in my account (50% of the intended amount). This has been reported to IP with the following response:

I don't know whether they have fixed the problem or whether there have not been the multiple loans coming through that match multiple profiles but my balance has stayed above the required minimum for the past week, rather than dipping up to 50% below it.

There was an update this week and since they knew about this bug it seems likely that they fixed it.

Sorry to report it does not appear to have been fixed, my retained balance is current 70% of what it should be. Having stayed just above the required limit it suddenly dropped, interestingly the drop coincided with the one day that I should have got a large number of repayments (but didn't) and I'm wondering if their retained balance algorithm is using wrong balance ie assuming that due payment will be paid. I will give it another month to see if the changes they have made to the timing of when a payment is considered overdue has had any positve or detrimental effect on the issue.
