Just received an email with the new IF ISA from WiseAlpha.
Will it be possible to use it for this tax year's (2018/19) allowance?

Yes, that's what the email says and the reason they have fast tracked it ... assuming of course you haven't subscribed new money to another IFISA this year. Note you may need a second email as you need to open a separate IFISA account distinct from an existing standard account (will be connected once IFISA fully launched in May)

Hi - has anyone else opened a Wisealpha ISA?
I just opened mine but I'm disappointed that you can only (apparently) invest using the Smart Interest thing.
I'm not really interested in this - "smart" advisor things have had a poor track record in my experience (mentioning no names, Bondora).
Will we be able to select individual bonds through the Market? If not then I'm going elsewhere. I'm pretty much done as far as P2P is concerned.
