www.p2pfinancenews.co.uk/2019/05/01/lendy-wage-advance/I will be warning about this lot until I get a satisfactory outcome to my loans with Lendy. Every financial forum, TP and at social networking finance events. This should not be allowed to happen. Walking away from one disaster, happily setting up another. This is the UK, not some banana republic, free of rules and regulations. "Companies House documents show Brooke and Kelly, whose current role at Lendy remains a mystery, set up a firm called Copious Capital in July 2018."
"Set up a by a team with a strong track record in leading innovative finance businesses, the organisation is developing and funding a number of new finance brands.”

"Set up a by a team with a strong track record in leading innovative finance businesses, the organisation is developing and funding a number of new finance brands.” This is indeed truly scandalous. Brook should never be allowed to accept money from the general public again for the rest of his entire life. His strong track record is one of greed, incompetence, carelessness and a complete and utter contempt for those now stuck in Lendy who he cannot, figuratively speaking look in the eye any more, hence the silence. And he's walking away, bit by bit. I have around a £160,000 or so tied up with this shower and I have heard NOTHING from them in many months. Attempts to contact and get some idea of what is going on have been in vain. Now I'm lucky, I had much more in Lendy and was winding down when the inevitable happened and have a pretty decent interest buffer to set against losses, but I have no doubt that a lot of people are going to get pretty badly hurt here. It's ironic to think that the customers in need for an advance on wages might be the customers of Lendy who lost their savings.

Those involved should never be allowed to be directors ever again.

Not a particular fan of Lendy with £100K+ tied up but as yet tied up is not lost and there is no evidence of the directors doing anything that legally bars them from starting new companies as actual lender losses are minuscule in the eyes of the law.
We may be upset and frustrated but thankfully that is not enough to pillory directors an a unbiased legal framework is in place to ensure equal treatment for all. The alternative is anarchy.

Suppose it comes down to decency and morals then.

Suppose it comes down to decency and morals then. I’m afraid in the real world greed and avarice usually take the place of decency and morals. Thankfully not always the case and a few good people prevail. Sometimes it is ineptitude and over optimism that come to the fore without actual malicious intent no matter how it seems. We will have to wait a bit longer to see the final outcome. Personally I wait to the end and then weigh up the evidence before throwing someone to the Beast.

If I am approached by this lot asking me to sign up (even via an ad) I plan to report them to the FCA as a suspected scam. They may take no further action as I'm sure Liam will have himself wrapped in legal cotton wool, but at least the FCA can't then claim they weren't aware.

And what will the people who trusted Mr Brooks and chucked the original minimum £50,000 into the absurd black hole of mysteries called Lendy Wealth make of the utter mess at Lendy given that we all are aware that Mr Brooks has suddenly found a large quantity of cash available to lend it to other people ?
Some might think that they should have read this forum before giving Mr Brooks a single penny and / or unlimited control over their hard earned cash.
Very odd that Lendy Wealth was such a greta success that the minimum was so quickly reduced to £10,000.
Could it have been a desire of Mr Brooks to simply assist far more people in their desire to watch their savings simply disappear ?

Wonder when Brooke mansions is going on the market? His splashing pics of the mansion all over FB was a bit naive.. he seems to have peed off an irish betting syndicate. Perhaps he'll allow one of their 'sporting events' on his land as compensation for evaporating their wealth KARMA coming.

He was being discussed on a betting forum, hence where I saw the link to the house and 'how lucky we are' nonsense. I think his luck is about to run out.
