Appear to be being spammed / hacked on my phone when I've been logged in here. Not in other sites at all Some click here, you've won a voucher keeps appearing, and I can't get rid of it and back to the page. Any suggestions? I've got a phone will only upgrade to kitkat 4.4. Thanks

I've no idea what is causing this, and I'm not a techie I'm afraid, but someone else reported it yesterday and they found that if they used the basic forum url p2pforum.boards.net/ they didn't get the issue. That was for browsing only though, logging in redirects to the p2pindependentforum.com so probably wouldn't help. Apparently the issue self-resolved for them today. It only seems to be affecting people using phones, we've not had any other reports of it. |

ProBoards do their best to ensure 'rogue' ads don't make it on to the systems, but sometimes they do. Report them with: ads.proboards.com/ad-report.htmlPS: doesn't selecting 'desktop version' (or whatever it's called) rectify the issue? Might look a bit rubbish on a small screen, but might be (more) usable. |

Yes having to use desktop on phone to write this. Not good. The report function is slightly incomprehensible and possibly impossible to execute. They want you to report the exact post and page you were on, exact time, and the ad link. Too much to copy and paste, it appears. it reads as if one has to them go back to that post and report it from there with the report button?? Is that misunderstanding?However, I'd agree it's currently rendering the site unusable on a phone. It's pretty much on every thread I look at.

. Yes seems as described here. Mods would you be able to report it to proboards support that it's happening on this forum at multiple locations including on this thread? If they've got detection software running, and it's been going on all afternoon and evening maybe they need a nudge to this forum? It completely takes over the chrome browser window, can't go back etc.

Just a data point - I'm using Chrome on my Android phone to reply to this and am seeing nothing like the problem described, no intrusive adds whatsoever, and I'm not using any add blockers.

I'm getting the spam pop-ups again on mobile devices with more than one browser when using the forum. Very irritating, it appears to stem from an advert in the cycle of adverts on the site.

I got this too on the iOS browsers.  So I have to be "Brave" now and no more pop up on mobile browser, or "Focus" like a fox on fire on other forum posts will also do the trick killing the pop ups.
