Is there a way for a P2P platform to do successful DFLs. Did Lendy actually complete any DFLs successfully? Are DFLs now dead and gone?

Yes, AC have done quite a few, incl one student block, Lendy did DFL023, MT Manchester. Believe CP are doing them successfully, Blend. No, properly costed, planned & managed with a competent PM/builder they are still alive.

See Assetz Capital, who have dozens (possibly hundreds), including a decent number of completed schemes. Typically 7-9% though, and better quality borrowers in the main. (crossed with ilmoro)

(crossed with ilmoro ) and right on cue to back up your post... AC #735 at 8% has just repaid (and in doing so has pushed the cash holding of the access accounts above £40m)

So why is it working for AC? And why did they need to raise so much new money?

So why is it working for AC? And why did they need to raise so much new money? It seemed quite obvious a long time ago that Lendy didn't know what they were doing, but still took fees of about 50%. AC's fees are much lower and yet they do seem to have some idea of what they are doing. They have raised ~£1.5m, not really a lot, ask anyone on the wrong side of Lendy's administration.
