Yes, it sounds potentially correct at £42.8k valuation but all depends on year of fabrication, specs, mileages, upgrade, etc

I work in asset finance. Mainly vehicle finance.
Many of the "big" lease companies have pulled Tesla from their lists of manufacturers that they will fund vehicles from.
The reason being, if Tesla go bust, nobody will be able to repair them and values will fall through the floor......

very good point above - also I guess a very limited market as the UK is not exactly plastered with charging points...

Big lease companies don't get 12% pa interest and have to consider resale in ~4 years time when they come to sell the car. Both of these factors are very different to investors in FS who should consider resale after 9 months (possibly optimistic). Your point is one to consider though even if not directly applicable to an FS proposition

For the record, FS had 2704336139 (35k) repaid for the Merc within 158 days, and recovered 4757132991 (classic car loan 25k, 215 days) very quickly via a private sale.

Yep, I certainly smiled about that when writing, but I'm hoping that car recoveries are much faster than property....

Many thanks for sharing reinvestor. Certainly an additional risk to add in to the already volatile mix...

£30k filled in a few minutes. Anybody want to take a stab at how much will be available on the SM later in the day?

Can the admin or the OP amend the title? It's a Tesla Model S, Elon doesn't like D. He prefers S , 3 , X and Y

£30k filled in a few minutes. Anybody want to take a stab at how much will be available on the SM later in the day? I was late for the party, had to do something else at 10am. Based on recent slow down in pawn filling I thought this loan will stay on "available" shelf for at least 10 minutes. I was wrong. This Tesla loan appeared to be very popular. I hope the outcome won't be disappointing for those who were on time £3,825 is now available at 0.90-1.00% - I'll pass this one
