"Role selection" actually means 'select account type' - there does appear to be something quite amiss with their relationship with words, their meaning, and how things generally appear to others (empathy?), aside from the grammar...
Although these things might appear minor, I have a concern about this in combination with the long running queue.

Although these things might appear minor, I have a concern about this in combination with the long running queue. I believe it's been mentioned before that English is not the first language of the founders and there are plenty of people who do have it as a first language that still get plenty wrong ("brought" instead of "bought" and "could of" instead of "could've" really get my goat!) so I personally cut them some slack. I do agree that it can look unprofessional though - I guess proof readers are expensive? The jury is still out for me regarding the queue; they touted that they needed lender money just before slowing (halting completely?) lending for the IT/website update. I've had a couple of loans in the past few days but I have more queued than lent so it may take a while for cash drag to become acceptable.

If I wanted to setup a fintech (or any) website in China, unless I was truly bilingual (usually as a product of being brought up in both countries) I would not consider starting up a website there unless I hired local translators. It wouldn't take much time for a native and proficient english speaker to run through the whole site and make appropriate changes and corrections.
