Anyone suggesting we should dump this before first payment? I got a bit well down from top rate.

Your call, but I wouldn't touch it at 14.9% even, for all sorts of reasons. I expect there'll be oodles for sale at 14.x%, if there aren't already.

Looks like I need some olfactory rectification, the rat having gone un-smelled.
Whatever the issue I have so far dumped 4 of my 5 parts at a modest premium, the rest should be gone soon, so thanks for the warning.
Edit: All gone!

Whilst a few got in at 15% I was not one of them. Just got knocked off at the last few minutes. I was out all day but had no intention of rebidding anyway.

It is shocking that FC let that go through. I'd love to hear your thoughts on that one... I found it so puzzling I came and found this forum from Dark Knight's comment to try and find out more. I've got a number of parts in this loan and am a bit confused by recent comments. Why is this loan so frowned upon and why is it shocking FC let it through... what have I missed?

Hi bonfemme, I don't know how to bring up the details of a loan request once the auction has ended, given I did not invest.... So working from memory here, sorry . Things that caught my attention : Bidder identity hidden. Minimal description of what the loan was for. I could not figure out how FC had attributed the risk band given the financials on display ( although I likely misunderstood most of it being a noob) No questions were answered, this seemed strange to me, especially as this was clearly having a nasty effect on the average rate. I'm new to this and cannot speak with any authority, more curious to hear the thoughts of others to ease my confusion than anything else .

Welcome thesnoop, but you cannot make allegations like that in your penultimate para, even if the borrower is not identified to the public. So please edit a bit? You may well be right to be cautious about risk.
