I made a complaint about the Lytham St Annes loan in April which should have been responded to by 11th June and was being managed by Isabel Mathews. I am still waiting for a response which demonstrates how efficient FS are in the management of complaints. I would suggest that if this is representative of their management of complaints that their management of late loans is equally abysmal and is the reason why there are so many complaints about the management of loans that are not repaid within an acceptable period of time.

I'm awaiting the response to my complaint over Whitehaven though they still have some time to go yet. It seems to me the management of this outfit is shoddy from top to bottom, as demonstrated by Whitehaven. I'm really slightly baffled as to why anybody would invest with them anymore. Including Whitehaven as it's near a enough a full wipe out of capital, I'm now on my third 100 percent wipe out on supposedly secured loans.

I did that some time ago and got a generic response that didn’t answer my questions. Just to manage your expectations! I will be escalating to the fca at some point but waiting for them to spend the next two years kicking the can down the road hoping we forget about it until I do. Hopefully by then their “mistakes” with these loans will be more well known. That’s if fs are still around in two years of course.

As an aside, let's assume my complaint is upheld right to the top, where ever that is. Then what? Wait for either 8 weeks to pass without a final response OR have received a final response that you deem not acceptable. Escalate to FOS, ask for full compensation
