Before P2P, savers put a guinea in a piggy bank, now they smash the banks to become guinea pigs.

Chris, before you went live with the new software there were some discounted loan units. Typically, these were wind turbines held by underwriters. Are they still discounted and how can I tell before buying them, and are they still at the head of the queue if the queuing algorithm has changed?

Maybe I've just been lucky but I've sold a London Retail loan part despite there being over 50% of the loan on offer, presumably mostly by the underwriter(s). Does the new algorithm sell on a round-robin basis or some other improved method, rather than a simply queue where you're stuck behind the underwriter(s)? If so, this would be a useful enhancement. I would guess that some lenders would be happy to increase their exposure to some loans if they thought they could sell them more easily, if the need arose in future. It's random - there's a post explaining it all in the 'What you need to know......' thread.

Hi chris. I was logged into the website but then left my desk to get on with a large number of things that need to be done. I was therefore rather bemused to be told that "You have been logged out of the system because your were inactive". While I understand the sentiment I can assure you I haven't been lying on the couch watching daytime tv easy fix I think. Hi gonzo It's stuck on 20 minutes currently. Others have asked for this to be extended too I'm fairly sure chris was thinking about making this user customizable

Are they still discounted and how can I tell before buying them, and are they still at the head of the queue if the queuing algorithm has changed? Yesterday I bought some Montrose WT, as it had a 0.3% off (underwriters markdown) before the change over, but I seem to have paid full wack for it. I then put it up for sale to see if it really is random (as below quote says) or if FIFO, LIFO etc. Six hours later I'd sold it, with ~a million pounds on the AM I don't see how this is random as previously discussed. I've one or two other sales where this has happened, I'm wondering if Lenders are just buying form each other and u/wers are out of the loop for the moment until the system settles. I noticed that loan MTFPL Tranche 2 (auction id 107) remains listed when the loan book is filtered by "Loans with units available to be purchased now". Payment for this loan was due yesterday, and on the previous system it would have been removed from the aftermarket, preventing trading. There is nothing in Overview or Q&A concerning the payment. I selflessly volunteered to test what happens in these circumstances by increasing my target by £1. No purchase occurs, despite a large volume of units available. Whilst the refusal to purchase is correct, due to the late payment status, there should be some message somewhere ( chris ) that says why units are not being purchased otherwise someone who sees target exceeding holding and units available is going to get confused. After 15 minutes or so of inactivity, I lowered my target.

Maybe all the previous discounts have also been disabled.

chris when it gets a little quieter can you add the loan id to the loan export, at the moment it just has the loan title/heading.
Personally I think the "export as csv" button would be more obvious at the top of the page than at the bottom (especially if you have page size as no limit). So if you could also give that some consideration too. There is space next to the paging controls.

The option (scroll to the bottom of the screen) appears for all filters. Agree that auction_id is essential, and missing. Personally, I had hoped to see more decimal places in the amount I'm holding (the statement gives principal and interest figures to 5dp). But it is great to have access not just to my holding, but also to my target and the aftermarket availability.

It always makes sense to have consistency on things like decimal places.

Also, I've just spotted the dropdown box that lists all your loans on one page, helpful!
Loan Book > Your loans > Per Page > No limit

chris, good to see the dropdown now added, but the display box needs to be made wider so that the selected entry displays properly - "No limit" appears as "Nc" (Chrome, Windows 7).

Great to see that the investment targets can now be adjusted on the "coming soon" loans - I've updated my post on the other thread accordingly.
Now just need to be able to set the target directly as before, rather than having to work out how many pounds higher or lower than the old target the new target is! [and the various other things of which Assetz are undoubtedly aware]
