"FCA Collateral Case – January Update"A twenty-seven-minute-hearing in criminal proceedings brought by the FCA against the former directors of Collateral (UK) Limited was held earlier today. Apologies for the lack of detail, but if you appreciate independent oversight of these proceedings please consider a donation to cover costs. Thanks for this

GRRRRRRRRRR Wouldn't be so bad if BDO hadn't hinted at returning some money last summer. I think the £75 I had in cash is now worth about £62 after inflation without all the other losses to come from the loans.

Not to mention the Court case where BDO had agreed the way to make interim payments ..... Anyway, I have mentioned several times that complaints may end up with the Complaints Commissioner if we are not happy with the way the FCA deals with them. As I study all the rulings I have a very good understanding how the system works but I don't know how many other Col investors do. Today the FCA published the following document (written in Dec) Protocol for the relationship between the office of the Complaints Commissioner and the Financial Conduct Authority.I would love to say 'a good read' but as you would expect the doc is rather dry ..... but it does lay out the process well.

I was single at that time. I'm now married, live in a different country and have an 18 month old son.

Can we rely on your guidance and help if this does end up with the FCA messing us around and us taking this up with the complaints commissioner I for one do not have a clue when it comes to all this sort of stuff although i did mange to get my complaint off to them all those years ago.
Can you really see the FCA fobbing us off and will the result of the court case sway anything in our favor i.e guilty
Thanks again for all your work

I am reliably informed that any Col investor who has submitted a witness statement should have received an Email from the FCA this morning. Those that will be required to give evidence will be notified separately later this week.
The trial is listed at Southwark Crown Court, 12 April, estimated length 4-6 weeks.
