Well 7 weeks now, and despite proof of the ISA transfer being received, and cash funds there to deal with it...nothing. All questions are being ignored, phone calls brushed off. The recipient provider has now been told FS have no account in my name. So whats happening Funding Secure ??
Are you thieves, or liars, or just completely incompetent? Answers on a postcard...be quick going to small claims court next week

FWIW, I had no problem transferring an IFISA out of FS two years ago. Did you ensure your account was identified using your account "sign-in", as shown top right when you're logged in (and in brackets on the tax statement), rather than your own name? My recollection is that the FS system hangs everything off this account "sign-in", having no apparent account number to quote.

I have twice transferred ISA funds from Fundingsecure, the first time went smoothly but the second time I had heard nothing after a couple of weeks so just assumed it had gone missing in the post. I sent the same form again and it worked with the money appearing after a week or so. Are you thieves, or liars, or just completely incompetent? Answers on a postcard...be quick going to small claims court next week They are proven liars, and are certainly completely incompetent, but I'm not sure they are thieves.

We action all ISA transfer requests within 48 hours - all requests are logged on receipt.
The only outstanding requests are ones received this week - we do not have any longer outstanding requests.
Moist - please contact us directly to identify the account you are referring to, so that we can help to resolve the problem.

I sent my transfer form by post on Tuesday last week to a different provider.
The money left FS on Monday this week & into my new IFISA provider today.
It was a satisfactory experience. 7 working days. Just to balance the board a bit.

I was surprised how quickly and seamlessly my transfer took place. The transfer must have been by bank transfer whereas others institutions will only do cheque with the postal and cheque clearing delays this entails.

Take a screenshot and attach it to your next message to them!

I too have done multiple ISA transfers with FS and all have been dealt with seamlessly.
If the lack of coherent description in this thread is anything to go by my money is on the problem being with the OP not FS (sorry mate!)

I can certainly think of more logical explanations than multiple platforms all conspiring to screw over one individual

on the way to being resolved, mixed up with an account with a similar name!! I both cases (FS and LW) the receiving BS is not exactly fault free either. So far both LW and the receiving BS are compensating for lost interest etc.
