Interesting [Guardian] article on the tragedy of Bury football club. Mentions Lendy's involvement in the disastrous schemes of the previous owner... Did p2p kill the football club?

No, I don't think P2P was the cause. If anything, it may have helped him keep the plates spinning a little longer, delaying the inevitable.

It was a MT loan but I suspect in this context the Lendy reference relates to the wider SD empire's borrowing.

The same borrower was behind a swathe of loans, on Lendy and other platforms.

The MT loan completed ages ago. MT also had the Cardiff student property for a long time before Lendy did did the DFL

It's an article in a national newspaper that mentions p2p loans.

gadget ... as a reminder of the one of rules that you agreed to as a condition of being a member of this forum. However, an exception is made for posts on the DD Central boards that are not publicly available for indexing by google/bing etc.
Challenging this long established rule is not going to achieve anything positive. The forum moderators will apply this rule, as well as the other rules, consistently.

MT had both Bradford loans as well before they moved to Lendy & Coll respectively. Bet theyre glad that the finding capabilities of the platform didn't match SDs ambitions.
