Anyone else have all their payments for today in processing status, beginning to think putting loans into "processing" status is a way of keeping hold of our money for a little longer and improving cash flow.

Occurs pretty much every Monday and the beginning of each month. Today is effectively Monday of course, as yesterday was a BH.

After a Bank Holiday, I normally find most, but not all, my payments go to processing state, and gradually sort themselves out by the end of the week. It seems fairly random which ones work and which ones do not, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the whole lot go processing once in a while.
Anyway, it's nothing to worry about. Perfectly routine behaviour from FC.

You don't worry that, after running the platform for 7 or so years, FC still don't have a sensible solution for bank Holidays, short months, weekends, and other unforeseen surprises? Their IT is., imo, seriously scary.

I used to worry about that aspect of it! Nowadays I just chuckle resignedly to myself at how feeble the software is to be knocked for six by the shock of an unpredictable Bank Holiday or an unscheduled February (I can't seem to find a link for an official list of when the next Februaries are).
What worries me most is things that change, especially in the P2P world where almost all changes seem to be to my detriment. So, FC's IT being rubbish has lost its worrying power.

Most unfair on poor old Funky Calendar. It's part of their Familiar Charm. I blame the Romans and the Catholic Church - and Boris of course.

Mine show up when they leave or arrive, then the date changes every day until it arrives at a banking day, when it takes root. More likely to be payments out, I guess, but I think credits do the same weird stuff.
I think FC could come up with something other than 'stop the world, the payment hasn't arrived on Saturday'.
