I've had a text from Z saying thanks for reaching out to us today, and click the link to give them feedback. I've not contacted then at all. Anyone else had this?

Mind you I sent an email yesterday still no response as yet regarding 2FA issues, perhaps they are spending their time trying to find you and are not rsed about 2FA. Mrs Aju got one yesterday from EE suggesting there were security errors in her account ... she doesn't actually have an EE account. It's not one of them is it!

I had to change my password yesterday when I shouldn't have needed to. I put it down to my strange keyboard. So, either they've had a security breach, or I have, but I never write full details down.
Or they think password change is reaching out to them..

The same thing happen to me some months ago.. it was not a security breach.
Apparently what it was was was I had raised (called in) an IT issue with them 4-5 weeks prior to the text and the CS person at Z had changed the status of that issue to resolved.. Which then generates that text (saying "incorrectly" I contacted them today)..
I too was worried about a security breach and thus I called them and after a some time on the line they informed me about the above.
However I would suggest you call since this may or may not be the reason.

I've only made one call about 4-5 years back. I'll leave it for now, change password etc. Someone else would be welcome to my defaults anyway.
