You can see why you might do that if you were using your own money (maybe not having the cash) but why would you do it when you are burning a loan at 12%+? Meanwhile these are early installations with warranty clauses surely?

Meanwhile these are early installations with warranty clauses surely? Wouldn't a lot depend on the terms of the warranty? Does it simply cover fixing the underperforming item, or does it include compensation for the lost income during the downtime? If the former, then the 'time-to-fix' becomes an issue, and that could be extended if parts are required. If it's the latter, then 60% of expected performance might not mean that income has been only 60% of expectation. I think the critical question here is whether the 60% performance is the result of lack of wind or unreliable equipment. The report from AC doesn't address this question. They has been asked -- in the loan's Q&A -- to reveal the reason for the shortfall in output.

Falmouth 127 has paid back, but nothing in the wind about Cornwall 121. All the remaining November drawdowns have now been puhed* into December! .... errrr! like in Marvel Comics... they have POW!! AC is a little more sedate, and just has puh!

... but nothing in the wind about Cornwall 121 ... Well, with a wind turbine, you wouldn't want anything in the wind anyway - damages the blades. Although a plump goose could come in handy for Xmas.

No news at all. That's a bit odd considering we were led to believe they'd be redeemed in close succession. The conspiracy side of me wants to suggest that AC don't want Cornwall WT to redeem before they have a replacement WT loan drawn down so as not to aggravate an already awkward position as regards the GEIAs.

#45 paid from buffer £800 short according to AC but £1800 by maths so a typo I suspect AC haven't responded to ilmoro 's question about this in the Q&A, but they have corrected the Activity entry to "over £1,800 short". I do hope they admit their mistake this time, rather than producing another patronising answer. Last week, someone asked why an important situation at Loan #86 hadn't been noted in the Activity tab, and received what struck me as a rather snotty reply that it was noted in the Activity tab on the previous day. What the person answering the question seems to have failed to notice is that the question had been asked the previous day -- some seven hours before the info was put on the website!
