I am about to lose the email address that I used to register with Collateral. I have emailed BDO on 3 separate occasions over several months requesting that they change my registered email. I have had no response. Last week I made the same request using the contact form on their website. Again without a response. I am considering making a complaint about them to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Has anyone else had a similar experience and does anyone have any advice?

My experience regarding an email contact was ignored ..as I never got a reply even after I called first.

I sent them an email to notify of my change of home (not email) address, but again no replies. Any idea if they do need my new home address in the first place?

I was wondering whether we could start a petition to have them removed and changed. Where you are standing is unfortunately without the necessary facts or information to be able to make an informed decision (through no fault of your own) due to the fact that the complex and sensitive nature of this administration means very little can be shared in the public domain. The handful of people who do know what's going on have all signed NDAs. You don't have to start a petition there is a specific process to follow. You can also make a complaint about an insolvency practitioner here: www.gov.uk/complain-about-insolvency-practitionerI personally see zero benefit to BDO being replaced currently - just additional expense and delay. I can't speak for other Creditors Committee members.
