In response to investors request for monthly newsletter update, could we remind investors that a monthly update was sent on November 1st (less than 2 weeks ago). savingstream: Thank you for the updates. I look forward to these loans becoming live. Like others, I feel it would be useful if regular updates -- and I don't think monthly is frequent enough -- were available on the website. As for the November 1st 'monthly update', I don't seems to have received that. Could someone please post it here?

As for the November 1st 'monthly update', I don't seems to have received that. Could someone please post it here? mikes1531 here is the November 1st update: --- Original Message -------- Subject: November Update Date: 2014-11-01 10:06 From: Saving Stream <support@savingstream.co.uk> Dear gb007, We can confirm October's monthly interest payments have now been credited to your accounts. We are currently focused on getting a number of deals to completion and also getting funds back in from deals that have come to the end of their agreed term. PBL001 has overrun which is embarrassing, but purely down to slow legals. New deal flow is constant and of good quality; for commercial reasons we will only put new deals up on the platform when we are confident of them completing within a reasonable time (current deals an exception, not the rule). Expect new deal flow to increase in the next few weeks. New Loans: PBL011/12/13 - Currently working through the delay caused by the death of one of the borrowers. Expect the Grant of Probate imminently. Borrower has given an undertaking to cover Lendy Ltd’s cost of fund losses. PBL009 - A restriction on the title has been lifted, Land Registry documents have been received. Working towards completion next week. Existing Loans: PBL001 - Funds expected any time. With the refinancer's lawyers. Should complete early next week. Pipeline Loans: £350k loan against 2 properties near Norwich. Client signed, DD underway, valuation booked, solicitors to be instructed next week. Drawdown mid November. £6m required for a piece of land in Somerset with planning for major commercial development plus additional security available in Amsterdam - £10m+ of security available. Major underwriters required, please contact us directly if you are interested in further information regarding this. With regards to the perceived move away from marine based loans, we would like to confirm that this is accurate and we will be focussing solely on short term property loans for the foreseeable future. We see property as a safer asset, more liquid (no pun intended), easier to secure, easier to dispose of, the valuations are more accurate, a broader and deeper market giving many more opportunities for lending and scalability. We currently have a number of boats on the book which we will be running down over their loan term but not renewing. We see super yachts as an exception to this rule, we can secure/value/register in a similar manner to real estate assets. We now have over 1,300 investors and have written nearly £11,000,000.00 in loans. We would like to say a big thank you to you all; we could not have achieved such a feat of extraordinary growth without you. We respect and actively seek your advice in the true spirit of the “crowdsource” movement and we thank you for bearing with us for any perceived annoyances. Thank you for investing in Saving Stream. Kind regards, The Saving Stream Team www.savingstream.co.ukUnsubscribe here

As for the November 1st 'monthly update', I don't seems to have received that. Could someone please post it here? mikes1531 here is the November 1st update: gb007: Thanks for posting the info so promptly. savingstream: Having now seen the 1/Nov Update, where a couple of completions were expected to happen in the following week, IMHO it is natural for investors to want to have a further update when the following week comes and goes and the completions don't happen. It seems obvious in that situation that having to wait another couple of weeks for a December update isn't a satisfactory solution. If SS don't wish to circulate a weekly status update by email, then this info needs to be available somewhere on the website, either on the individual loan pages or in a single central 'Current Status' page.

savingstream
I have just received my "New Friday Weekly Update". Having criticised Savingstream for not keeping investors informed I have to say I think this weekly update is a good response so a thank-you is in order.

Yes, "Good News Friday" in future. Even the Pipeline "Notes" have a bit of useful info, too. Have to say, they're tryin'

savingstream thank you for the update and for listening to your customers concerns on this forum. Sounds like there are some exciting opportunities in the pipeline. Even for the really big ones it would be good to offer these on the platform in addition to the underwriting you will be seeking. Keep it up!!

savingstream despite me adding you to the whitelist of the spam filter, it looks as if my ISP is still bouncing your emails as spam.

savingstream despite me adding you to the whitelist of the spam filter, it looks as if my ISP is still bouncing your emails as spam. I seem to be having a similar problem. I did not receive the Friday Update, nor did I receive the November newsletter. I've also not had a response to an email that I sent to savingstream yesterday afternoon, but it was just yesterday so that may not indicate a problem. My ISP is a part of PlusNet, which I believe is owned by BT.

mikes1531 I'm sure that Plusnet came up on the Ablrate board regarding spam problems too. Indeed it was. Plusnet use SenderBase.org (part of Cisco) as the first level of filtering (before user whitelists are evaluated). It looks like the mail hosting service used by savingstream is being used by others for spamming and hence tainting savingstream by association. Unfortunately it seems that P2P companies can't afford to pay for secure email hosting with a provider that vets every single applicant. Which is a shame, as its going to force me to liquidate my SS loans and move on. Sorry savingstream .

Saving Stream use Amazon Web Services (SES) as its email service provider that Amazon built to service its own customer base. aws.amazon.com/ses/A simple suggestion for anybody having difficulty receiving our emails through plusnet would be to setup a free GMail account and either update your SavingStream account to use this account to receive the broadcast emails, or simply register a new account with the new email address.
