I've just paid money to Assetz (or tried to) for the first time since the Go Cardless facility ended. I'm paying to the correct account. Two questions:
1. Normally when I make a "faster payment" I get an immediate confirmation. This time my bank's website thought for a minute or so and then gave me a message along the lines of "Payment in process. Do not make it again unless it again unless it is credited back to your account." Which suggests a problem (hopefully temporary) with the interface between my bank and their bank. Has anyone else had similar problems?
2. When the process works, what is peoples' experience of when the money actually appears in their account? The website says "Bank receipts are uploaded onto the website on the next working day". Should I expect the money to be there at the start of the day, or not?

From my experience, it's normally there around 9.30 the following day.

Last time I did it, it was around 12:00 the next day.

I put some in Monday morning, and it was credited Tuesday morning quite early. On the bank message, I suppose it depends on whether you get that for any transfer, or just this one. Hopefully, the former, else its eek-time.

My bank must hate me. My "Faster Payments" to Assetz never show up the next day.
On the 21st Oct I made the payment. It arrived in my Assetz account at 11:15AM on 23rd Oct.
On the 27th Oct I made another payment. It arrived in my Assetz account at 9:15AM today (29th Oct).
Does it make a difference when you send the payment? I think I placed the payments during the afternoon.

Yes it does make a difference Neil. If you process your transfer after normal banking hours (say 4.30 or so) then it won't actually credit into our bank account the following day and then only be transferred into your lender account on the day after that.

Yes it does make a difference Neil. If you process your transfer after normal banking hours (say 4.30 or so) then it won't actually credit into our bank account the following day and then only be transferred into your lender account on the day after that.
. I thought I'd try sending another payment to see what happens. I did the "Faster Payment" with my bank yesterday (30th Oct) at 2:03PM and once again it hasn't reached my Assetz account today. It's probably my bank to be honest - they are trying to get rid of their customers so it wouldn't surprise me if they "delay" Faster Payments.

My "Faster Payment" didn't get to Assetz until this morning. I really should ditch my useless bank but I want to spite them by staying as long as possible ... Also, I can't take my sunglasses off as I'm shy! Now look what you've done - I've grown a beard!
