Jaydee - the minimum investment amount is £5,000 per deal. (It was £30,000 last year).

How Much Can I Invest Into Each Deal? The minimum investment into each is deal is £30,000. There is no maximum.
Hi James I'm not sure where you got that from but the minimum investment is actually £5,000. The website has both figures

gaspilot In the "More Info" section, "How Much Can I Invest Into Each Deal", it states "The minimum investment into each deal is £30,000. There is no maximum." If the sum has changed, then this has to be altered.

For those interested, Bridging Crowd have quite a large pipeline, circa £2,000,000 expecting to complete over the next 7-28 days.

Anyone with any recent experiences care to update? It would be good to know loan flow, frequency of defaults and how they're handled. Is everything still transacted via email?

I'd describe the loan flow rate as a steady trickle - there's been 4 since about mid June, and they always seem to be a little slower than predicted (haven't yet worked out how many of those mentioned in the occasional pipeline updates actually materialise). Everything all still done by email - seems to work pretty well for me - I quite like that they're not spending huge sums on an all singing/dancing website. Not been using them long enough to get to end of a loan yet so can't comment as to how long issues may take to resolve. Your best bet is to register and wait for the phone call from Louis to grill him on this kind of stuff

I applied but heard no more. Maybe my low level of income put them off, but I do have well into 6 figures invested, nearly half of it in p2p/p2b so they can't be short of investors.

I think it was over a week before Louis called me (by which time I was starting to wonder if the income I specified was ruling me out!) so he's probably just busy.

Hi Locutus and Webwiz Apologies if no one managed to touch base with you. Our process is generally to call a few times on the day or day after you applied to lend. If we do not get through, we will send an introductory email (which may have ended up in spam!). Can you email me at louis@thebridgecrowd.com and I will happily call to discuss further.

I can't hear on the phone so do not conduct any business that way. But my cash has gone elsewhere now in any case.

Anybody have any recent dealings with thebridgingcrowd? I came across this thread yesterday and emailed them with a query (sent to both email addresses which were quoted from post 13 by the MD) and have received no reply as of yet. Not too much information out there on them but I was initially impressed from the bits I have read but not so enamoured by the lack of communication that has been forthcoming.

I think you have to remember that they're a small operation so yes they get busy (yesterday they were clearly finalising a deal as I received a deed of assignment to sign) but I'm sure they'll get back to you within a few (business) days. I still like them
