I still didn't receive a reply to my query. Gave them the benefit of the doubt. Applied Tuesday and I've heard nothing. They are either timewasters or have enough investors that they don't need any more. And correspondence is clearly not a high priority for this platform. Disappointed, as I was very interested in investing with them.

Hi Sildenafil,
What is your email address or phone number and I will personally email or call you.
Also please check your junk box for any emails that may have gone there.
Thanks

Quick bit of DD. Both names - bridgecrowd and bridgingcrowd are trading names of Social Money. Other subsidiaries are listed at the FCA as thestudentbank.co.uk and thestudentfinancecompany.co.uk plus maybe others. Maybe they would like to pop their heads onto this forum and introduce themselves as they do appear to have their fingers in more than a couple of pies. An extended review of BridgeCrowd as of May 2015 is shown at www.4thway.co.uk/candid-opinion/the-bridgecrowd-review/And too good to be true? £250 cashback offered if applying via cashback.p2pmoney.co.uk/bridgecrowd.php (minimum commitment of £5,000 required)

Too risky for me.

The publicly registered details for thebridgecrowd.com are:
Louis Alexander Social Money Ltd, 5 Claremont Avenue, Manchester M20 1JN 07719 433839 louis (at) a-social (dot) co
The domain in that email address is registered to an individual's name at what appears to be an apartment in Istanbul, Turkey.
The publicly registered details for Social Money Ltd are:
31 Wilmslow Road, Cheadle, Cheshire SK8 1DR
The Cheadle address seems to be an accountant's office. The Claremont Avenue address seems to be residential, and does have other associations with Mr Alexander.

It is the first thing I normally look for and I doubt I'm alone. Bridging Crowd - can you elaborate on why you still only have interim permission to operate from the FCA?

They are targeting higher net worth individuals, hence the £5k minimum. We negotiated a very good cashback promotion which we are happy to promote.
Personally I am not a lender on thebridgecrowd yet, but if they consider dropping their minimum I would certainly be interested.

Looks like the website has had an overhaul with the ability to "login" to an online account. Has anybody figured out how to do this without registering as a new user?
Also noticed it states in the investor FAQs that there is a secondary market, which is "quite active".

I've emailed Louis to create me an account based on my existing details. What sort of information can you see listed when you have registered gaspilot? Can you see the SM?

My account hasn't been transferred as yet. The pipeline tab and the secondary market tab just says 'coming soon'. There are two other tabs which show 'All Live' loans and 'Redeemed' loans. It looks quite a good site at the moment though.

I'm an existing lender with bridgecrowd. My understanding is the site is being tested but is not live yet, will be so in about a month. Existing investors will be loaded first then it will be open to new investors.................my understanding after having had an email exchange with Louis.
