I note how they talk about the NEW accommodation going up all over the place? I wonder at what point supply will be greater than demand? Might even be a good time to sell out of property partners purpose built student accommodation?

OF course one thing that's happening in Cardiff and Manchester, lots of shiny new student flats, built on the cheap to lower standards than apply to normal housing, So no requirements for parking, no social housing etc as there would be with any other development.
2 years down the line students can't afford the rents, so developers are now asking councils to let them rent to non students, who can afford the rents. Call me a cynic but I feel this was intended all along by some of these companies, they've now got the high rental properties but didn't have to do any of the social stuff which would reduce their profits.
