Where have the bids from the old system disappeared to?
I took screen shots of the dashboards of our accounts just before the changeover and whilst bids weren’t included as part of the total investment on the new system they were listed separately and agreed with the figures on the old system.
None of the loans have been drawn down or if they have I haven’t got them and the value of the bids as simply gone missing.
What the hell is going on?

Yes I wish AC would stop just changing things with no warning, leaving us to search. Try Dashboard>> Reports>>Your bids>>Accepted bids. It just isn't cricket!!

The total value of these bids is not included in the investment total. It is presumably because these are now a temporary phenomenon and once drawn down, that section will disappear.

This has been very badly handled as the total between an old system and a new one should be demonstrable the same or it causes unnecessary user worry. However you can find them under reports/your bids. Nnote there are 2 tabs and they are probably under the accepted bids tab.

Thanks for the advice OG but I had already checked that and it tells me that I have no bids which means that a substantial amount has gone missing, on paper at least.
I appreciate that the value of the bids is not included in the investment total CC but choose what you call it I am still missing a considerable amount of money.
I’ve had enough of AC and have started to liquidate my investments and will recheck the balances when I have run the accounts down.

Oh dear! When mine all "disappeared" today they reappeared (me having kicked up a fuss elsewhere and not looked carefully enough at the page) under the Accepted Tab (on the Your bids page) and they are all there now separated into bids and shadowbids.

More likely to be on the accepted bids tab which is not the default one.
AC have made things much more difficult for themselves by not communicating these things ahead of time or in this case integrating the calc into the totals behind the scenes.

I’ve now found the tab that both you and OG have referred to, I don’t know how I missed it in the first place, probably punch drunk from trying to follow AC’s changes.
Anyway, thanks to both yourself and OG for pointing it out.

Not just thee, lad. See my grumpling and grousing on p41 and even pikestaff on p43 of the website comments thread! Taking a quick look at the page it's as if the eye is drawn away from existence of those two tabs when they have not been used before. It's a bit like proof reading one's own typing. No matter how many times you check it you end up "skim" reading it and just don't see see the obvious things.

I had the last of my shadow bids (Dorset) showing under accepted bids on the old system and I am sure I saw it somewhere on the new system. When settling Leics Care Home I enquired when they needed settlement of Dorset. I was informed that they had no record of my bid although it had been sitting on my account for almost 3 months. I was not too concerned because I had already taken a position with the same Company on TC. This does , however, raise some serious questions about the new system and the transfers between the two.
Thanks to OG's suggestion above (I should have read it first) I have now found my bid under "Accepted Bids" having been told I don't have a bid. I've just emailed AC asking them to sort it out.

This thread is just another reason why there needs to be a master or fully inclusive statement somewhere on the site containing every transaction made unless AC staff really want to spend 24hrs a day on the phone and on here explaining where deposits, withdraws, loan x, cash, interest blah blah blah has gone. or better navigation
