Been a long while since there was £0 available here. A single investor has chomped up vast amounts of everything available, followed by a lot of other smaller investments from others. Maybe with the thinking that the opportunities to invest were running out? After all, we don't know for sure that the current pipeline loans will go through (and certainly we don't know when). I took the opportunity to sell one of my holdings - with nothing to compete with me for funds I reckoned it was a sure bet  |

What I was wondering was whether the + and - amounts were "cancelling" each other out in the total at the top?

This seems a bit odd.
I'd be reassured by a statement from SS about this zero availability to invest.
Do we know for sure this is just a case of a single, new investor coming along and buying the slack in every loan available?
I suppose it makes the SM easier to sell on.

When does SS think the next loan will be?
Please give us a couple of hours to read the documents ,before frantic bidding begins. Blind bidding can't be good, and I have had to do it before!

You just need to look at the recent activity on those loans that had availablility. The same investor put £51K into PBL 014, just over £48K into PBL 005, bought half nearly a third of what I put up for sale on another PBL and I think a few other bits here and there that were available.

Whilst I agree with you in principle, the fact is if it's that frantic, then you can be sure of being able to sell on very quickly if you decide afterwards you didn't want it. Even those loans about which people have really major reservations still sell and re-sell quickly on SS.
