Not me, and feel aggrieved as I’ve been Zopa since 2005.
But 4%? I’M IN!

Don't get too excited this seems to be the nub of it
"As it is a beta test the term is fixed for one month, offers four per cent interest and testers can deposit up to £100 into the beta account, Zopa said."
So that's a whole 33 pence!

No, I wasn't invited to the party, but will keep an eye on this development. I hope they will have some competitive savings products in store when they become a bank.

I'm sure 200 vacancies will be filled, if not already Reminds me of the recent FS 30-day access where some people invested £1 (0.4p profit?) for the experience.

I'm an early adopter too and no sniff either, mind you if i'm supposed to be user testing it for them then i'd want more than a few pence, even the chinese get better pay than this. Talk about shoestring budget ... What happened to minimum wage then. Where's Boris!

Not on FS and can't recollect the timing but did they get their money out before administration or it might be 4 p interest vs capital loss . Perhaps it was worth it for the 'ride' but a stark reminder to be careful what you try .

I am included in the panel of testers but am not able to provide further detail due to the testing agreement.
The testing is obviously not about the interest rate (there’s absolutely no suggestion that there will be a 4% product) but about the processes for opening the account and maturing it. No testers can be involved for the max 41p interest.

So potentially one could withdraw before administration.

Not exactly earth shattering 4% for 1 month on a max of £100. But interesting the Zopa bank is getting near.
